A chore rotation that’s easy to adjust
- Add your household: use names or nicknames for the people sharing the chores.
- Set a routine: mark tasks as daily or weekly and choose a light, regular, or heavier effort estimate.
- Balance and rotate: generate assignments that spread estimated effort, then rotate the chart for the following week.
- Make it yours: change any assignment before printing or sharing a downloaded text chart.
- Keep it private: names and assignments are stored in this browser on this device, not uploaded or synced.
Chore chart questions
How does the chore rotation work?
The chart creates one assignment for each weekly chore and one assignment per day for each daily chore. It distributes estimated effort across household members and changes the tie-breaking rotation when you generate the next week. You can edit any result.
Can I print or share the family chore chart?
Yes. Print a clean weekly chart or download a plain-text copy you can share. The downloaded file is made in your browser.
Where are household names and chores saved?
Your chart is saved in local browser storage on this device. It is not uploaded to OpenWebStore or synced across devices. Clearing this browser’s site data can remove the saved chart, so print or download a copy if you need to keep it.
Does the chart decide what is fair for my family?
No. Effort levels are approximate and households have different needs. The generated schedule is a starting point—review and adjust it together.
