Free screenshot-to-guide maker
Turn screenshots into a numbered, step-by-step guide. Arrange images, write instructions, point out interface details with arrows, and blur or redact sensitive areas. Download a self-contained web guide or print it and save as PDF. Your screenshots stay on your device.
Make a clear guide from screenshots
- Add and arrange screenshots: Select multiple images and move steps up or down into the order readers should follow.
- Explain each step: Give it a short title and add instructions in your own words.
- Annotate important details: Drag to draw an arrow, blur an area, or cover it with a solid redaction.
- Download an annotated screenshot: Save the selected step as a full-resolution PNG without changing the original image.
- Share your walkthrough: Download a single HTML file with screenshots embedded, or open a print-ready version and choose Save as PDF.
Screenshots stay local
Images are opened and annotated in your browser. They are not uploaded to a server. Exported HTML guides contain embedded copies of your annotated screenshots, so share those files only with people you trust. For highly sensitive details, use solid redaction instead of blur.
Screenshot guide questions
How do I save the guide as a PDF?
Choose Print / Save as PDF to open the print-ready guide, then select your browser’s Save as PDF or Print to PDF destination.
Can I download an annotated screenshot as an image?
Yes. Choose Download PNG on a step to save the annotated screenshot at its original image dimensions. The original file remains unchanged.
Can I share the HTML guide without the original screenshots?
Yes. The downloaded HTML guide embeds the annotated screenshot images inside the file, so it can be opened and shared as a single document.
Does blur permanently hide sensitive information?
Blur softens an area but may not completely conceal text. Use the solid Redact tool when information must be fully covered before sharing.
Are screenshots uploaded or stored?
No. Screenshots are processed locally in your browser. The app does not upload them or save them to an account.
